Recycling Inkjet Cartridges

IT-Green offers a safe solution for the disposal of inkjet cartridges. Depending upon your requirements, we offer:
  • A free service. If it's just ink cartridges you need to recycle, just box them up and send them via your nominated postal service to our treatment facility. When using this service, please remember to include your contact details so we can let you know what happened to the empty cartridges.
  • IT-Green will collect ink cartridges FREE of charge when you book one of our WEEE collection services. IT-Green is able to take your used inkjet cartridges in conjunction with your redundant IT equipment. Cartridges are seperated from your Computer equipment and then sent on for recycling by our specialists.
IT-Green recycles all computer equipment it receives in house. The service encompasses the following:
  • Use of employees trained in-house to NVQ level for Waste Management.
  • Provision of Authorised treatment facility and licenced waste carrier service.
  • Professional, cost efficient solutions to I.T waste
  • Waste minimisation strategies, meaning that clients can comply with BS8555, ISO 14001 and relevant Environmental management systems.
By recycling inkjet cartridges, clients are not just ensuring the plastics (which come from oil) are recycled but that many ink cartridges are refilled for re-use in an ethical manner.

Our secure premises are licenced for the storage, processing and treatment (Authorised Treatment Facility) of hardware to the WEEE directive (section 23 permit).
