Why Recycle computers? (Part 2) Through discussion with the Environment Agency, we understand that the Landfill Regulations banned the co-disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste from 16 Jul 04. Due to this, landfill operators have been instructed to only accept CRT monitors if the site is a hazardous waste facility.

Why Recycle? We're all aware of the impact our use of scarce resources is having on the environment. The excessive use of hydrocarbons in the petroleum industry is sending the price of crude, both light and heavy on an ever increasing upward spiral, the result of which is a hike in petrol and Diesel prices at the pumps. What of other resources and the resultant impact prices from these are having on day-to-day living?

We believe it's important for potential customers to understand that there are recyclers and recycling orientated businesses and to understand the difference.

why not export? The number of computers in the world is growing rapidly. There's a trend to export our waste, but what's the downside to all this?
