Why Recycle computers? Through discussion with the Environment Agency, we understand that the Landfill Regulations banned the co-disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste from 16 Jul 04. This means that there are now separate landfill sites for hazardous and non-hazardous waste. Due to this, landfill operators have been instructed to only accept CRT monitors if the site is a hazardous waste facility.
